2023 is the year of my firsts. I’ll let you in on what I did this year to spread my business wings. You can watch and get ideas. Maybe something will work for you?
This is the first time I’ve done a year-end review on my blog. I won’t go into detail about my commissions for texts. These have been added to the websites and blogs of a veterinary clinic, three dieticians, an architect, a craftswoman who renovates furniture, and one of my mentors! Instead, I’ll tell you about how my business has developed over the year I’ve wanted to do something more. What was it and what effects did it bring? You’ll find out in this article.
January – newsletter
Setting up Mailer Lite, a program for sending emails, wasn’t difficult. Understanding how it works was. I pulled a few late nights, cursing under my breath about what a piece of crap it was, to finally send the first email to 14 subscribers on 18.01.2023.
Where did I get them from? From my first lead magnet, a gift in exchange for signing up to the newsletter list. In January, my first e-book “Start Your Blog Like the Best Party” was born.
What have I learned?
A newsletter is not enter preparation time and number of servings media. Don’t expect a hundred hearts for great tips, even though I wrote them until 2 a.m. But from time to time I get an email like this:
“Kasia, thank you for the beautiful story! I always look forward to your emails. Today’s brought tears of emotion to my cheeks.”
February – I stopped being lonely in business
February is the month of the best digital marketing for customer acquisition Package, which I joined at the last minute. It was a twist of fate. It all started with Ola Gościniak’s blog, where I was looking for information on how to set up a newsletter. I downloaded her toolkit and became her subscriber. If you know me a bit, you know that I encourage blogging – here’s proof that blogging works. If you’re not convinced yet, I encourage you to read the article “Blog – is it worth running in a small company?” .
Back to the topic
Ola started bombarding me with emails sg number some Package, and I… didn’t feel like reading it. But I finally opened one of the emails, and there… I found what I was looking for. A group of women running their own businesses. Women who, like me, sometimes need to talk, ask questions, get advice.
