Renewed SLA functionality: New improved performance
Guess what! We’ve finally crossed the finish line with the SLA rebuild! We’ve gone from a chaotic look to a clear, understandable logic. Now, records without an SLA level automatically get a 7-day background timer to keep things moving smoothly and not pile up at the bottom of the record list.
We’ve also improved the sorting of records in the Records by Importance list and improved the distribution for the Resolve function. Additionally, the SLA log has received some improvements, now showing only closed records, and we’ve removed pending records to avoid misunderstandings and report changes over time.
Just a quick reminder: adjusting SLA times will not recalculate the SLA times of existing records, but will only be applied to new records that come in.
And because we like to go the extra mile right after implementing something new, there’s already an option to customize the default SLA level coming soon!
Information about the “Closed” tab status
Remember the new “Closed” tab state we mentioned? It’s the perfect fit for tabs – there’s no going back once a tab is marked Closed. For now, closing tabs is a manual affair to prevent accidental mass closing using bulk actions or rules. But don’t worry, we’re working on some improvements to make this tab closing process fast yet accurate.
There’s more too, and we think this is the icing on the cake – we’re introducing a new custom role permission for closing tabs, as well as a new SLA type coming soon to store the final timestamp of when the tab was closed.
