But what is the situation in the Netherlands? Are we using social media more and more often? And how reliable do we find online media? In this edition, the findings from the ‘Impact Social Media 2013’ study.

Social media usage same as 2012

The ‘Impact Social Media 2013’ study was conducted by Social Embassy in collaboration with Insites Consulting. They conducted the study for ING Netherlands, interviewing 1,500 respondents. The results show that the use of social media has remained the same compared to last year. Just like in 2012, Facebook is the most popular social network in our country. 69 percent of Dutch consumers visit the platform every week. Dutch people use news sites the most (56 percent), followed by newspaper websites (52 percent).

Less confidence

Furthermore, the results show that the Dutch consumer has less confidence in media. This applies to both  strength or empathy? china numbers  traditional and online media.
